Events:

Every year in June Opole becomes the capital of a Polish song when our star singers and bands for three days perform on the stage of the famous amphitheater. There are lots of extra events then in the whole town! You can also visit a museum of Polish song and even feel yourself as a star singing in a studio and listening to your own performance!

There are also many concerts, theatre shows, art gallery exhibitions, etc. And there is a wonderful zoo in a huge park. Perfect place to spend a whole day.

EATING AND DRINKING:

There are number of bars, restaurants and cafes in Opole. Downtown young people direct to Manekin, Kofeina 2.0 or Papa Jack, street food Hamburg, Karmelek or Manisfest, cafes Sopelek and Dolce Vita. But you can also find some cheap milk bars. Delicious :)

SIGHTS:

The symbol of Opole is the Piast Tower – the remnant of a medieval castle. You can go up and see the whole town around from above. On the town hall tower you will hear a trumpet call every hour.

There are also a few beautiful churches worth visiting and two amazing fountains: a monument of Ceres and a singing one at Barlickiego street near the indoor ice rink. From there you may go to the Oder river bank with amazing view and outdoor gym. You might also find an impressive Opole Venice with buildings arising from the river.
